Women’s Cricket

Electricity Sports Cricket Club is now running a Women’s Cricket Section.

The Women’s Section began in summer 2016 and has a growing membership.  A team is competing in a winter Indoor Cricket League.  We will be playing regular friendly matches during the summer of 2017 with the intention of entering a Women’s Cricket League in 2018. There is a regular programme of training, practice and coaching throughout the year.

The Section welcomes new members from 15 years old and above*. No experience or equipment is needed to join and participate.

If you want to join or just find out more, please contact

Faye Coward: Email fayetracy@hotmail.com or Telephone  07795 568673
Oliver Savage: Email oliversavage1@hotmail.co.uk or Telephone 07990 525465

Outdoor Practice will begin week beginning Monday 24th April from 6.30 to 8.00.  These sessions will take place every Monday evening.

Free taster sessions are provided.           * Younger players are welcome if accompanied by a participating player.

Girls’ Cricket

Electricity Sports Cricket Club already has a number of girls playing junior cricket as part of the Junior Section from U10 through to U15 cricket.  We are always seeking new members.  Our hope is to have enough girl members to enable us to participate in girls only cricket (there are a number of events and tournaments throughout the year). The girls practice and compete as part of the Junior Section.  For more information and to get in touch please use the contacts available on the Junior pages of the website click here.
