Please be aware of the upcoming events at your club:


Cricketforce Ground Working Party Weekend – Saturday the 24th March, 10am to 6pm

We expect all club members to give us a hand to ensure we are ready for the new season. If the weather is poor, we will have jobs inside the pavilion to attend to, so please still turn up.  If you can only spare a couple of hours, that is OK. Please come dressed for action. If you wish to discuss what is involved, please give me a call on 07711 959173. A free tee shirt will be available for all participants.


Rolling the Square and Outfield – Saturday the 31st March and the 1st and 2nd April

We are hiring a roller for the weekend. If you can spare an hour, come on down.


Winter Nets – Last evening at the County Ground is Thursday the 29th March


Outdoor Practice Sessions – First evening is Tuesday the 10th April from 6.30-8pm.

You should attend on Tuesdays if you wish to be considered for selection for the matches each following weekend. If the weather is poor, we will be using the three artificial grass strips, so bring trainers or will go in the pavilion for captain’s team talks.


Matches – The first league games of the season for the 1stXI/2ndXI/3rdXI start on Saturday the 21st April. If pre-season friendly matches are arranged, the captains will be in touch. The captains are: 1st XI Andy Deacon, 2nd XI Jamie Bolton, 3rd XI Nirmalji Odedra and 4th XI Rob Jay.

Kitchen Refurbishment – The total refurbishment of the kitchen in the pavilion is now underway so please take care when you enter the building.
