Electricity Sports Cricket Club – Juniors
Electricity Sports are very proud to be awarded Clubmark status by the ECB.
The club are also a proactive Focus Club with links to local schools through the Chance to Shine initiative.
We offer a warm welcome to young people aged from 5 to 15yrs who want to play cricket and improve their skills. Players of 15yrs or older (school year 11 or above) should contact Keith Webster the club secretary to discuss the opportunities with the senior section.
We offer the opportunity to participate in both outdoor and indoor practice sessions thoughout the year, to play for one of several teams entered in the Leicestershire Youth Cricket League and to progress into senior cricket.
We take the well being of our Junior members extremely seriously and operate under a SAFE HANDS POLICY.
All of our Junior Managers are DBS checked and coaches are DBS checked and ECB qualified.

Our summer season training nights are a great opportunity to take a look at our facilities, chat with age group coaches and other officials.

Outdoor Training – Thursdays 6.30 till 7.30/7.45pm (weather permitting)
For the current 2017 Season the Juniors are fielding teams in the following age groups;
Under 10’s (Kwiks) – 2 teams, Friday fortnightly
Under 11’s (Incrediballs) – 1 team, Friday fortnightly
Under 11’s Hardball – 1 team, Friday weekly
Under 13’s – 1 team – Sunday am weekly
Under 15’s – 1 team – Wednesday weekly
