Leicester Electricity Sports Cricket Club currently has two senior teams operating the Everard's Leicestershire League, which usually plays on Saturdays. We play on the historic ground previously owned by Leicestershire County Cricket Club from 1901, until they moved to their current home of Grace Road in 1946. The ground was then later owned by the local Electricity Board, to which their company sports teams were based. Although our cricket club still bares its orginal name and the ground is owned by Persimmon Homes, there is no longer a link between the club and the Electricity Board.
We have recently amalgamated with Leicester City Youth CC to form Leicester Electricity Sports Junior Cricket Club. More information can be found on our Juniors page. If you are interested in playing for Electricty Sports on a Saturday contact the Club Secretary - Keith Webster on 07711 959 173 Who's Who: Chairman: Gordon Bostock Secretary: Keith Webster Treasurer: Dave Perry
1st XI Captain: Andy Deacon 1st XI Vice-Captain: Joe Carolan
2nd XI Captain: Steve Waddington

The historic pavilion, once the home to Leicestershire County Cricket Club, is to be the subject of major refurbishment over the coming year.
